QUIET-004The Quiet Room

The Archangel Healing Meditation

A candle ritual on the school's site paired seven archangels with the seven chakras, asking the reader to light one white candle per realm and ask out loud for each blockage to be released.

One small candle by a cushion: the ritual asks for one white candle per realm.

The school kept a second meditation page beside its simpler one, built around a single claim: seven archangels correspond to the seven chakras, and a reader can work through old blockages one realm at a time by naming each archangel, lighting a candle, and asking out loud for a blockage to be released.

Seven realms, seven chakras

The page's premise was structural rather than devotional. It paired each of the seven primary chakras with what it called a realm, overseen by one of seven primary archangels, each carrying a specific aspect: Auriel for security, nature and compassion at the root; Zadkiel for emotions, materialization and creative visualization at the sexual, creative center; Zophkiel for courage, art, beauty, perfection and balance at the solar plexus; Raphael for healing and love at the heart; Gabriel for sound, vibration and communication at the throat; Michael for truth and protection at the brow; Kamiel for light, power and energy at the crown. The page's argument was that past or present blockages between a person and any one realm's teaching could be worked through one center at a time, the same way the school's chakra page described a blockage showing up as a bodily sensation.

The candle procedure

Unlike the plainer meditation page, this one gave a literal procedure rather than an invitation to sit quietly. Light a white candle for each archangel realm, the page instructed, then speak the archangel's name three times, pause, and ask out loud for a full release of the blockage and a reconnection with that realm's energy and teaching. The page supplied a sample line for Archangel Auriel, asking for release of a blockage to the realm of security, nature and compassion, and reconnection with its energy, healing and teaching. The candles were then left to burn while the reader experienced the energies; when the reader felt finished, each flame was blown out and the ceremony closed with a spoken thank you, repeated three times.

A second way to measure it

The page also offered a way to gauge, rather than simply assume, how open each realm felt before lighting anything. It suggested a pendulum or a kinesiology check against a percentage, asking for each realm in turn how open the reader felt to it, and recording the answer before beginning the candle work on whichever realms scored lowest. The page presented the two approaches as alternatives and said plainly which one its author preferred: the full routine, moving through all seven realms in turn, because the flow of energies from the realms combined was, in its words, a wonderful feeling.

A note the page added for Reiki students

One instruction on the page was written for the school's own students rather than a general visitor: if you are attuned to Reiki, the page said, get it flowing to yourself as you work through the exercise. That line placed the archangel meditation inside the same practice as everything else on the shelf, a technique a trained practitioner could layer underneath, not a separate system competing with it.

Where it sits beside the simpler page

The school's other meditation page, the printable one built around sitting and listening, came with an open invitation: print it out, read it through a couple of times, and feel free to modify it wherever that suited the reader. The archangel page shares that same open-handedness, naming a procedure a reader could try alone with nothing more than seven white candles, while still folding in the chakra vocabulary the site used everywhere else to describe where, bodily, a blockage was felt to sit. Read beside the chakra page, it answers the question the chakra page leaves open: once a center is named, here is one concrete thing the school offered a reader to try with it, realm by realm, candle by candle, until all seven had been named out loud and thanked.

What the page did not claim

The page was careful about scope in the same way the rest of the archive was careful about scope. It did not promise that a single evening of candles would resolve a blockage for good, and it did not frame the pendulum check as diagnosis in any medical sense, only as a way to notice where attention might usefully go first. It credited the chart itself to another teacher, Venessa Rablston, as modified by Starr B., a small acknowledgment that kept the page inside the same habit the rest of the site practiced: naming the source of a technique rather than presenting it as original. For a reading room built around pages the school kept online for well over a decade, that habit of crediting its sources is worth noticing as much as the ritual itself.
