Jikiden Reiki Healing Stories

From Pattie, Mickey's Mom in Peabody, MA: I wanted to share my experience with all of you. My older poodle got pancreatitis, an inflammation of the pancreas, back in September. My vet gave him fluid treatments and we had to withdraw all food and water from him for 4 days. He was so sick for weeks and weeks. The vet kept telling us to put him down because he was “ancient”. We didn’t agree, we knew he still had life in him and we could tell it just wasn’t his time. I took him to another vet. She put him on some meds to help his stomach so he’d want to eat. It would take me 2 hours of coaxing to get him to take a few bites. This went on for days. He was losing weight. I felt hopeless and started doing Reiki on him that I had learned from Starr. Then it dawned on me, STARR could help! I called her and we got him an appt. right away. Starr scanned Mickey's body and found disrupted energy in the pancreas and surrounding areas. She worked directly on that area for over an hour on the first visit. The next day I wrote to Starr saying,

"You must have worked your magic on Mickey last night because he sat up in his basket the whole way home! When we got home, after a little coaxing he ate his food, was barking and wagging his tail all night!! Thank you for all your help, see you Saturday!"

Every time I would take him to Starr for his treatment, he was snoring in her arms within minutes, allowing Starr to Reiki him for over an hour at a time. Then we would come home.....and he would eat up a storm! I started him on homeopathy treatments and have been taking him to Starr two or three times per week, and he is just about back to his old self. He was actually galloping down the hallway the other morning! We thought it was our other poodle but it was Mickey chasing after my husband. He is eating three times a day, looking for his treat, and has gained back a pound! Thank you Starr!!!!

Nerve Problems

Anonymous, Lynn, MA: In September 2006 my neck was jerked very, vary hard to the side. My jaw locked and popped and my neck cracked fifty times a day. Over time I developed tingling and numbness in my left pinky and ring fingers. I visited a chiropractor and the adjustments he did for my neck resulted in about 50% improvement. Donna A., Swampscott, MA: On Sunday I was at a friend's house for dinner. She was taking something out of the oven that had been cooking for awhile, the pan tipped over and without thinking she grabbed the pan with her other, non-oven-mitted hand. She burned it pretty good in about three places, palm, finger, and thumb. After dinner it was red and starting to blister and really hurt. I Reiki'd it for about a half-hour. Sukhada Repass, Johnson, VT: Hi Starr, An amazing thing I wanted to share with you.

I sprained my foot a few days ago. I lay down the night I did it & decided to do some Jikiden Reiki & put my other foot on it. The sore foot got very hot & when I got up to use the bathroom later was able to walk on when before I was not & the next day it was so much better.

Sharon C., Lynn, MA: Hi Starr, About a month ago I tended to a friend who was in a great deal of muscular pain. He had a lot of difficulty moving his body at all. I gave him a 90 minute Jikiden Reiki session. He had planned to visit his doctor originally, but after the Reiki he canceled the appointment!
